Enterprise Intelligence

Smarter technology leadership, secure AI adoption, and product-grade execution — without enterprise headcount.

Mindpod Technologies is the Enterprise Intelligence firm built and led by Jaras Funderburg — 20+ years in Microsoft infrastructure and security. We give SMBs, MSPs, and mid-market teams the technology leadership, AI governance, cloud modernization, and custom software that larger organizations staff whole departments to get.

What Mindpod does

One firm, five layers, one standard of execution.

Most companies our clients’ size face enterprise-grade problems with small-business resources. The AI decision matters as much as it does at a bank. The cloud bill grows the same way. The security exposure is identical — and so is the cost of getting it wrong.

We close that gap. Strategy first, then the governance, the platform, and the software that follow from it. Everything we recommend, we have built or run ourselves.

Built and led by Jaras Funderburg

Founder — 20+ years in Microsoft infrastructure and security.

Mindpod is based in Atlanta and led by an engineer, not a salesperson. That shapes what you get: an honest read on what your technology can and cannot do today, a plan sequenced by risk rather than by what is easiest to sell, and the same person on the call who does the work.

We build our own platforms and run them against our own environment before anyone else sees them. It keeps the advice accurate about what is genuinely hard, what is expensive, and what vendors oversell.

Microsoft 365

Copilot will read whatever your staff can already open.

The M365 Pulse Check is a read-only review of your tenant, led by a senior Microsoft security lead. Fixed fee, from $4,500. Two to three weeks. You keep the report.

The operating model

The five layers of Enterprise Intelligence

Not a service menu. A sequence — each layer makes the next one safe to attempt.

Layer 1

Strategic Intelligence

Senior technology leadership, without the senior headcount.

The front door. Most teams do not need a platform on day one — they need someone accountable for the decisions that compound. At Mindpod, that someone is Jaras Funderburg: 20+ years in Microsoft infrastructure and security.

  • Fractional CTO engagements
  • Technology roadmap and sequencing
  • AI strategy and adoption planning
  • Executive and board-level advisory
  • Vendor and platform decisions
  • Risk prioritization

Layer 2

AI Governance & Security

Adopt AI without inheriting its risk.

Agents, copilots, and automated workflows introduce a new class of exposure: data movement you cannot see, actions taken without a human, and decisions nobody can reconstruct. Governance is what makes AI adoption defensible.

  • AI governance frameworks and policy
  • Secure AI implementation
  • Agentic AI controls and approval gates
  • Security strategy and posture review
  • Monitoring and evidence trails

Layer 3

Cloud & Infrastructure Intelligence

Modernize the platform your business actually runs on.

Cloud spend is easy to grow and hard to justify. This layer covers the architecture, the migration path, the recovery plan, and the training that makes your own team able to run it.

  • Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud
  • Microsoft 365 architecture and hardening
  • Multi-cloud and hybrid architecture
  • Cloud modernization and migration
  • Disaster recovery and continuity
  • Cloud and AI training for your team

Layer 4

Application & Automation Intelligence

Software that fits the way your business already works.

When the off-the-shelf tool almost fits, the gap gets filled by spreadsheets, copy-paste, and someone staying late. This layer replaces that with software and automation built for the workflow you actually have.

  • Custom application development
  • Internal tools and operator consoles
  • Agentic workflows with human approval
  • Business process automation
  • Systems integration
Custom Apps

Product Intelligence Platforms

The methodology, shipped as software.

Our platforms are the same discipline in product form — built first for our own operations, then made available to teams with the same problem.

  • MITB — Microsoft operations intelligence
  • AngelMind — AI security and governance
  • SupplyMind — supply-chain and tariff risk
  • Quotewren — quoting to payment for service businesses

MITB — Minds In a Techs Box

Microsoft operations intelligence for MSPs and lean IT teams.

MITB scans Microsoft 365, Entra, Azure, security, and AI-governance signals; scores risk; cites evidence; and turns findings into remediation plans and client-ready reports. It is the work a good consultant does on their best day, run continuously.

AngelMind

AI security and governance for organizations adopting agents, copilots, custom AI apps, and automated workflows.

See what the AI touched, what it decided, and who approved it. AngelMind exists because the honest answer to “what is your AI allowed to do?” is usually “we are not sure” — and that is not an answer you can give a client or an auditor.

MicroApps by Mindpod

Small tools that finish one job properly

Not every operational problem deserves a platform. A MicroApp solves one specific workflow end to end — fast to adopt, priced for a small business, built to the same engineering standard as everything else we ship.

Who it is for
Small service businesses — trades, mobile services, and owner-operators
Problem it solves
The money work happens after the job: writing the quote, chasing the invoice, and asking for the review. It gets done late, inconsistently, or not at all.
