The short version
- This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or analytics trackers.
- We collect an email address only if you hand us one.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We never have.
What we collect, and why
1. Newsletter signup — The Mindpod Spot
If you subscribe, we collect the email address you enter and, if you provide it, your name. It is sent to our email provider and used to send you the newsletter. Nothing else. Every issue carries an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately.
2. The chat assistant on this site
If you use the chat widget, the message you type is sent to our hosting provider’s AI service to generate a reply. We do not store your conversation and we do not use it to train any model. Please don’t paste passwords, account numbers, health information, or anything confidential into it — it is a website assistant, not a secure channel.
3. Abuse prevention
Our signup and chat endpoints briefly hold your IP address in memory to enforce rate limits, so the forms can’t be flooded. It is not written to a database, not linked to your identity, and disappears when the process recycles. Our host also keeps standard server logs.
4. Fonts
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. That request necessarily reveals your IP address to Google. We are working toward self-hosting these files to remove that hop.

Each holds data under its own terms. We share personal information with no one else, except where the law requires it.
How long we keep things
Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Rate-limit data lives for minutes to a day. Server logs follow our host’s retention. Chat messages are not retained by us at all.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. Email Info@mindpodtech.com and we will respond within 30 days. You do not need to explain why, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
If you are in the EU/UK or California, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to complain to your data protection authority. We do not sell personal information as those laws define it.
Children
This site is for business audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we add anything that collects more than what is described above, this page changes first, with a new effective date at the top.
